"This brush created a pretty good lather this second time around also! I didn't shave with the first Palmolive lather but this one I did. My only complaint was the lather got dry against my skin around the second pass. Normally not a problem with XXX for me, its amazing stuff. The lather looked good, and stayed on my face. I think it was deceptively dry. A little splash of water on my cheek and I was set though, so only a minor problem really.
I had so much lather left I decided to mess around with it after the shave. I kept whipping it up and adding water, and it took a fair amount without really changing consistency! Finally got it though, and I think that'll be the key with this brush for a while.
As far as how this brush felt on my face, very different from my 830! It felt like a much stiffer and tighter knot. Great backbone, very little splay. A few pricklies that were very mild and not always felt. I can't wait to see how it feels well broke in!"

"Used the brush this morning with Vitos Extra Coco and got a great shave. The brush performed like a champ, pretty much identical to my Semogue 1250. The slimmer handle works a lot better if you hold it like a pencil with the base in the center of your palm. I love the heavy feeling of the metal handle, btw. Also, not scratchy at all even though it only has a few lathers on it. The hair used in this and the 1250 is something really special."
