13 Medallon Taurino

I had the luck to get my hands on some NOS Filarmonica 13 Medallon Taurino. These razors were made between 1950 and 1960!

This is Collector's razor. The «Medallion» was meant to give good luck to the Bullfighter when he went to the Bullfight Arena.

This series was composed by 6 different themes from the Bullfights: Muleta, Rejoneo, Banderillas, Estocada, Capote and Cogida.

This wonderful straight razor comes in its original case and plastic pouch. Most of the razors are still with its pouch unopened. I only opened some to take some pictures of them.

This razor has a square point and measures 6/8 of an inch. It has a light green handle. The blade has an etching with the theme of the razor (Banderillas) and a drawing of a bullfight.

The straight razors are not shave ready because I haven't touch them in order to keep the original factory edge intact. Needless to say that these take a very keen and smooth edge once honed. If you want this razor shave-ready, please order my honing service available in this site.
