Dovo Fritz Bracht «Morris Collegiate» 5/8

This Dovo straight razor is from the Fritz Bracht era, the Dovo golden age. Dovo is currently one of the most popular brands in cutlery and straight razors in particular. It is recognized by the straight razor collectors and connoisseurs that the best Dovo straight razors are marked by Fritz Bracht. Since these straight razors are not made anymore for decades, getting one razor in new-old-stock condition is extremely rare, so don't miss this opportunity.
This particular model is exactly the same as the 5/8 I'm also selling, but it is marked «Morris Collegiate».
It was stored in a unopened box of straight razors in a cutlery warehouse since the eighties. These razors have never been used before, therefore they have the original factory edge and the blade is protected by oil.
The razor is 5/8'' full hollow round point. On the blade it has written «Solingen Best Quality». On the front side of the shank it has written «Morris Collegiate Soligen - Germany» and on the back it has written «Solingen Made in Germany». It has a 3 pin black plastic scales.
